“As the youngest child in my family, I soaked up everything my older siblings were reading. This included reading X-Men comics as well as building and trading the X-Men collector cards. I loved R. L. Stine’s Goosebumps series, and I even started to pick up my mother’s penchant for Bryce Courtney’s books.
I’ve always loved reading plays, from The Songmaker’s Chair by Albert Wendt and At the Wake by Victor Rodger – both Pasifika playwrights – to Tennessee Williams’s A Streetcar Named Desire and Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll House. And right now, I’m blasting SZA on repeat.”
