Gareth Price is a self-taught artist, having studied art at Selwyn College throughout the end of the 1980s.
His style mixes surrealism, magic realism, and symbolism.
He has exhibited at the Pierre Peeters Gallery of Parnell, The Artists’ Room of Dunedin, and more recently the West Coast Gallery at Piha beach in West Auckland.
His work is held in several private collections, and his painting “The Green Box Agreement” won the people’s choice award at the 2012 Wallace Art Awards.
Gareth lives in New Lynn with his fiancee, her daughter, and their pets.
