J. Wiremu Kane

“Little King George” Annual 3

J. Wiremu Kane (Ngāpuhi he/him/ia) used to be a doctor but had to retire due to his disability. He is much happier and healthier as a writer.

He has to deal with severe anxiety, so likes to write stories about characters who also are challenged by anxiety. The story “Little King George” is loosely inspired by his great-great-great grandfather Hare (Charles) Bryers.
