“Harry Potter and the Missing Letter - and Me” Annual 3

Madison Hamill is the author of the Ockham award-winning essay collection Specimen: Personal Essays. During the day, she works as an editor for the Air Force.

Recently she learnt to paint. You can find one of her paintings hiding in the bathroom of one of Wellington’s best restaurants. She also enjoys lying alone with her electric blanket, playing mindless phone games, spending her life’s savings on oat flat whites, and making up creative excuses for why she hasn’t been writing her mythical second book.
